After a one-month shutdown, the Time Warner Center restaurant Porter House New York reopens this week with a new interior design, new menu items and a new name: Porter House Bar and Grill.

Michael Lomonaco, the restaurant’s chef and one of its partners, said the changes were driven by the need to give Porter House a more modern look after nearly 10 years in business. The makeover includes new flooring and lighting, plus a reconceived bar area. The restaurant’s seating will also expand to 272 from 250.
